1.
This
request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement
notice for this project that appeared in Development Business,
notice number 695, 31 January2007. The Federal Democratic Republic
of Ethiopia has received a grant from the International Development
Association (IDA) towards the cost of NBE-Financial Sector capacity
Building project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this grant to payments on Quality- and cost -based selection (QCBS)
for recruitment of International consultant for National Payment
Systems Modernization (RFP24/QCBS/H239-ET).

The
National bank of
Ethiopia
, Financial Sector capacity Building Project (NBE-FSCBP) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in
providing the services. Interested consultants must provide
information indicating that they are qualified to perform the
services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience
in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among
staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their
qualifications.
3.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set
out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of
Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
4.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address
below from 9:00am -12 am and 1:30pm-4: 30pm local time
Monday-Friday.
5.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below on
or before 4:00 PM, September 03, 2007. Expression of interest
received late will not be considered.
6.
Only short listed consultants will be invited to submit the request
for proposal.
